From Shelly's Desk Information for the Fall 2010 training.

Thank you all for your hard work that come to the training, it is a big success,
I also would like to thank you all at headquarters for helping out, much appreciated.

Dates for further trainings September 19th to November 20th, in San Diego,

Scholarship application link will become available for review August 1 and we will be accepting applications starting July 1st through July 25th, make sure they are complete. Only two students will be awarded a scholarship, and do consider that i can offer you some sort of payment plan if not awarded, so take that into consideration.

We are starting registration on September 19th at 1 pm followed by orientation at 3 pm our first yoga class is going to be monday afternoon, Graduation is November 20th at 3 pm and your hotel check out is November 21st no later than 11 am

Since the hotel is not able to offer a food coupon they have arranged a section called Bikrams Village where there will be restaurants and food shops to provide you with inexpensive food.

There is a $5.00 internet service daily and $2.50 for parking daily.

These accommodations do include towels which will be provided for class.

Also as a precaution do not wear green it is Bikram's most disliked color.

I would like to know that the training is something that is being considered by most students practicing their yoga, it is a most beneficial program to enlarge your life and perfect your practice, so do not hesitate to sign up.

Students with chronic illness taking medication need to be informed us before the training, and not during the training, so you will not be asked to leave the training.

According to the new Bikram Yoga Franchising regulations-All Bikram yoga certified instructors must be certified in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). Though this is a mandatory requirement, I am sure you will agree it is also a necessary and very positive beginning to your role as a teacher.

This course will be completed during the training, by an international company-Medic First Aid. You will be certified in lay person Adult CPR and Standard First Aid. The certification expires after two years. The cost of the course is discounted at $40.00 per person including books and cards.

Money will be collected during orientation and must be paid on the first day of training. If you are currently certified you must provide a copy of your current card at orientation to be exempt from taking the course. Please note that this is the only time proof of certification will be accepted, so supplies can be ordered.

If you have any questions please contact Leigh at byogini@earthlink.net.
We look forward to seeing you soon in San Diego!!

I remain in gratitude of my life
