Bikram
Yoga University Village is a state-of-the-art facility, with the
comfortable, luxurious ambience of a spa, including well-appointed men’s
and women’s locker rooms and showers. BYUV has installed a high tech
HVAC system with built-in humidifier. Air flows continuously through a
CO2 controller for optimal balance of Oxygen and CO2. UV light filters
kills bacteria and the carpets are slip-resistant and antimicrobial.
BYUV is located in the University Village shopping center with easy freeway access, just off the Cook Street exit on the 10 freeway at the corner of Cook and Gerald Ford. There is plenty of free parking. Mats and towels are available for sale or rent in the yoga boutique. Owners are Kim Tang, the 2010 Southern California Regional Women's Champion and Denise DuBarry Hay former owner/founder of Malibu Yoga. These ladies are mothers of two yogi's, Kim is the mother of International Junior Champion, David Tang and Denise's daughter is yogini/teacher, Samantha Lockwood. |
