Lump on the Breast |
I entered teacher training October 2001 with a lump on my left breast. It was being watched by mammograms for two years, water filled not removable. It was about the size of an egg. Before teacher training I had never done yoga in a hot room before. I had been teaching other yoga styles at the health clubs for about two years. I was familiar with Bikram Yoga from his book published in 1976, I did the 26 postures in my apartment everyday for two months. It did change my life, I was recuperating from a whiplash injure. At 23 there were many postures I couldn't do at all, bow pulling was impossible. Driving since the age of 16, pigeon chest, smoking, I was a mess! Thanks for the new life then and NOW. Now I'm teaching in Las Vegas with Patrice Baal. My lump is gone, alleluia. The doctor said the fluid filled mass could be aspirated if it became painfull. They would keep watch with mammagrams and I should stop drinking coffee and take two vitamin E capsules daily. During training it was very painfull to do Locust, but I was confident this rigorous training would heal just about any thing. |
