Kidney Condition

I have polycystic kidneys and am in need of a kidney transplant. I was scheduled for June, and am holding off as  long as my kidney function remains stable which we are now looking at September, we shall see.  Because of my poor kidney function, I have been on high blood pressure medication for two years. I was running 3 miles about 3-4 times a week for those two years, but still need medication.

After taking Bikram's yoga for one month I am no longer in need of this medication, my blood pressure is down to a normal level.  Also I have pain in my joints, especially my knees, it hurts to go up an down steps, I am told this is due to the build up of phosporus in my body. After the month of yoga I also have no pain in my knees. It is a pleasure to walk up aand down steps with out the pain.  I am fairly active, I horseback ride, ski, golf, run and only Bikram Yoga has made it so I can enjoy these without my knee pain. As far as the kidney function goes, we shall see, but I am just happy not taking the medicine and having no knee pain.
